FaThai – Concentrated Jaew Hon Thai Hot Pot Soup is a convenient cooking base designed to recreate the authentic flavors of Northeastern Thai (Isan) hot pot, commonly known as Jaew Hon or Jim Jum.

 This product comes in a concentrated paste or liquid form, typically packaged in a small pouch, and is intended to be diluted with water to create a rich, aromatic broth. It features a distinctive flavor profile that is savory, mildly spicy, and herbal, with a slightly nutty depth from roasted rice powder—one of the key elements of traditional Jaew Hon soup. 

Preparation is simple and user-friendly: the concentrate is mixed with boiling water to produce a ready-to-use hot pot base within minutes. It can then be used to cook a variety of ingredients such as sliced meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, making it ideal for shared, interactive meals. 

INGREDIENTS:

Water, FISH sauce 25% (sardines (Encrasicholina spp.), salt, sugar), sugar, iodized salt (salt, potassium iodate), anti-caking agent (E535), flavor enhancers (E621, E635), spices (chili powder 3%, shallot powder, Thai ginger powder, lemongrass powder 0.5%, kaffir lime leaf 0.4%), roasted ground rice 5%, acidity regulator (E330), modified tapioca starch, flavoring.

This product may contain traces of gluten and soybeans.

Store in a dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 30 days.
