The dish features cylindrical rice cakes (tteok), often accompanied by ingredients like fish cakes (eomuk), boiled eggs, onions, and green onions. The sauce typically includes gochujang (Korean chili paste), soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and sesame oil, giving it a distinctive bold flavor with a perfect balance of heat and sweetness.
